Charles Henry

El Matador Design is a graphic design studio based in Durango, Colorado, founded by designer Charlie Henry. Charlie graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2016 with a B.A. in Design Communications and has since worked with musicians, festivals, and small businesses throughout Colorado and the Southwest.

Born and raised in Colorado, his work is heavily influenced by the visual language of the region, live music culture, and the outdoor landscapes that shape local communities. In addition to design, Charlie is an active musician and touring performer, which gives him a practical understanding of how artwork functions in real spaces, on posters, merchandise, signage, and digital promotion.

El Matador Design specializes in brand identity, poster design, album artwork, and event branding. The goal is simple: create work that is visually distinctive, functional in the real world, and immediately communicates who a client is and why people should care.
